Evolution of County Socio–Ecological Systems in Nature Reserves in Western China Over the Past 30 Years

Abstract The evolution process of socio–ecological systems from 1990 to 2020 in the Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, located National Key Ecological Function Area western China, was analyzed quantitatively based on resilience theory and methodology combined with catastrophe adaptive cycle theory, through field investigation, questionnaires interviews, social data collection remote sensing analysis. results show that coordinated development has made great progress recent decades study area, ecosystems a high degree coupling strong connection. Changes ecosystem regularly surpassed changes system, indicating significant impact success ecological protection policies projects decades. In future, improvements sub-system will be key developing system area. Enhancing resiliency, implementing transformational green industry development, transforming realizing product values are important topics for further investigation Substantial policy, production, population climate change needed promote systems.
